Another Blog

I have reserved another blog domain on wordpress (for those of you who don't know wordpress is another blogging software).

I'm told you can do more with wordpress. Its certainly not as intuitive and some stuff that is really easy with beta blogger is not as easy on wordpress.

Now the question is what do I do with it? If anything? Firstly this blog will keep going much as it is now.

Kate suggested making it a birding resource, but there are sites doing that already.

I suppose I could use it as a pure wildlife blog. It would really then be a subset of this blog with perhaps more detail on birds seen, lists etc.

Or perhaps a sport blog or ....

Any ideas even if they are don't bother.

I may just keep it as a backup.

answers on a postcard? or the comments section :D

you could transfer your blog. I use wordpress, I feel it's very easy to use and onyl as complicated/advanced as you want it to be.

I like the pages feature, which means you integrate a normal webpage with the blog, and hence you could for example have you birdlist thingie (?) always available on one page, or some information, pictures or whatever :)

Tinker with both sites and see where they go. I'm in a similar situation with Blogigo and Blogger, but I get round it by calling the Blogger one my 'emergency blog'. Today I was trying to change it as I don't like pure black templates. I also tried uploading a photo to my Blogger profile and it was hard! Blogigo is much easier - you just upload it to a Blogigo cache. But you are on Blogger and put a lot of photos up, are they stored on a photo site?

yeah the profile photo was a pain to do.

all the photos are on my PC at the mo.

I fond the photo thingy on Blogger quite tricky to use, I can never get the sizes right. I usually store mine on photobucket and use a normal image link.
